Thanks @U04V5V0V4 🙂
Good morning, good folks!
Does anyone here know of a good framework/library for testing that rendered browser components look as expected? (Visual regression testing, like https://docs.cypress.io/guides/tooling/visual-testing) I know about using e.g. Etaoin and Cypress to ascertain facts about the DOM, but I haven't before ventured into visual regression.
But not used it for "visual" stuff, just testing if things are in the page and invoking actions
Thank you for sharing, @U11EL3P9U. Are there particular reasons you'd like Playwright? Does it just seem better overall?
There a few things - like better language support (including Java...). I think it just felt better. I'm not really a frontend dev, so others may have a different opinion. If you google "playwright vs cypress", I'm sure you'll get lots of info to help make a decision.
Do you use Cypress from a JS context, or CLJS?
thanks 🙂
Sounds like a proper creative process... and I have to say I love all the landscape pictures posted here. I tend to stick to people photography, so very different.
Good morning!
