are you running guix system or guix on foreign ?

I'm running guix on Debian, so far using guix to install some binary packages / exploring. I have https://github.com/ieugen/bin-guix

good for you - I did not make that step yet

I do have some critics with how guix is built

guile is a blessing and a curse - for one - you can't get a list of pacakges without compiling everything

how is it working for you ?

More promise than actual use atm. It is on a second machine
