oh, wow. I’ve always wondered: 1) is the html5 tech used to turn what used to be done on a desktop onto the web difficult? does penpot uses Canvas
for the UI or something less fancy? 2) Writing a webapp with so many features packed into it… is it tedious? (you know, premature comparison with Adobe Photoshop notwithstanding) Thanks! @U06B73YQJ
1) it depends, I guess is just different and has its own quirks and tradeoffs/challenges 2) We use plain HTML + SVG, we also use canvas for periferic image rendering, nothing essential 3) Yep, penpot is huge and complex web application. It is not comparing with photoshop, it is comparing with Adobe Figma
