mentally on holiday already, but thereâs 4 more days to go⌠itâs toughâŚ
Same time frame here. I tend to feel either what you do, or I feel annoyed that I donât have time to wrap things up properly. Loads of stuff popping up, and people are asking me because everyone else is on holidays, so Iâm dreading leaving a mess of threads behind.
I am attending a wedding reception on Saturday. Itâs a relatively lowkey event. My friend who lives all over the worldâbut originally from Denmarkâis in town and wants to have a reception in his home country with his friends over here. They asked not to get any presents that take up space in their luggage, so what do you give themâŚ?
If they live in apartments on their travels, and they drink coffe, a Bialetti (or the Alessi I posted) We tend to âalwaysâ bring one of those when travelling.
Also, gift card to some experience could be nice, but that's harder since it's often bound to both time and place, and your friend is not?
Maybe just some money (cash or a prepaid card) in a fancy envelope that says âtreat yourselfâ on it?
> Also, gift card to some experience could be nice, but thatâs harder since itâs often bound to both time and place, and your friend is not? Exactly, this is what makes it so difficult.
> Maybe just some money (cash or a prepaid card) in a fancy envelope that says âtreat yourselfâ on it? Hm⌠I guess as a last resort this would work.
I think I got it already. Iâve only met her twice, but he isâdespite flying all the damn timeâa bleeding hearts tree hugger, who went vegan for the climate and is aiming to live a CO2 negative lifestyle, so I think Iâm gonna pay for trees to be planted and get them some kind of certificate. It sucks that itâs mostly aimed it him, but hopefully she has similar values đ
@U4P4NREBY an open-ended plane ticket to come and visit you again. đ
