Is there any snow right now?

Not in the city itself, but on the hills there is plenty. We have rented a flat ~30 minutes up the mountains from here for a week-long workation so we can hike and cross-ski before and after work

We always go as family. Some of us ski, some don't. Ski lifts are open to pedestrians, either two-way, or walk your way back on a snowshoe trail. It's less expansive for pedestrians. It's handy to just walk downhill, save time, or gather for lunch.

I thought the only legal reason to go ski-less in the lift was to go to the top bar 🤪

I don't feel like learning it and breaking my legs :)

I think if you learn properly and progress sensibly the chances of injury are low

They are slightly better than me but we stay together and it's a joy to me

+ 1 for snowshoes if you are not into skiing. Cross-country ski stations often have decent amount of showshoe trails. Usually these places are less crowded than alpine skiing ones.

Using one or writing one?

More like writing one. Reusing some html things I used with Clojure before, based on Bulma. For now still using the js the cljs put out. Taking small steps to make it all dynamic.
