Morning 🙂
Yes, I, too, am in a gorning mood
if you aren't on #events then you are missing out on quite a few interesting #data-science and #fulcro things coming up
Morning!
I have a cool piece of code mapping the result of clojure.core/hash
to an harmonious HSL color.
I'm trying to map it to a colorblind friendly scale. Google is not helping 😞
Any clues, bookmark, direction to look at?
This might help? (I'm certainly learning a lot about color accessibility from it) https://designsystem.digital.gov/design-tokens/color/overview/
Thank you for the link
Good morning!

even coffee is depressing when you have given up caffeine
i'm not giving it up permanently, just breaking the addiction and hopefully devising a healthier relationship with the infernal bean
@mccraigmccraig giving up caffeine is way harder for me than giving up smoking or alcohol. the headache and depression, my god.
i agree @borkdude - it's much worse than the booze or the fags - the caffeine withdrawal headache is the total pits. currently i'm down to 1 cup of tea per day, and the headache is gathering
Coffee is one of my last remaining vices. I have given it up occasionally. The cost to me is about a week of withdrawal. Headaches, nausea, malaise. For me, giving up coffee is harder than giving up nicotine but easier than giving up booze.
Luckily the science is mostly in favor of coffee, it's just feeling of being dependent on something and the effect it has on my sleep. The paradox is when I reduce caffeine is that I sleep way worse for the first few days and then it gets better.
Yeah, same, I used to get offended by the fact I need coffee. I seem to be no longer offended.
I’m not giving up on coffee, it’s too big a part of my life: https://slipset.github.io/posts/on-steamed-milk
