Morning! Today I’ll try to finish a blog post (and write example code) about cljs and Material-UI.

what's that thing between your bialetti and the stovetop ?

mccraigmccraig08:09:46

oh... figured it - dyu have an induction stove ?

reefersleep10:09:12

I prefer gas, but I'm renting this house and didn't get to choose 🤷

mccraigmccraig10:09:47

i prefer gas too, because you can always see just how hot it is on any gas stove anywhere - but if there was some visual feedback mechanism for induction hobs i would probably prefer them, because piping explosive gases around your home through brazed copper pipes and rubber tubes seems less than ideal

emak09:09:37

I prefer gas because heat can be controlled with a simple button. And I don't need to adjust for inertia. Also I can cook when a tree falls on an electrical pole nearby.

reefersleep17:09:59

I prefer it because it seems more responsive, but maybe this is due to increased sense of feedback

Ran into some undefined behaviour in Intellij and now all keybindings, plugins, intellij data in general has been nuked from orbit (it’s the only way to be sure). So I’ll spend this morning getting back to normal. Retrieving my settings from a synced settings repo apparently does nothing.

Back in action!!! 💪

Ed09:09:53

At least you didn't do that to your emacs config ... that would have taken a lot more than an hour to recover from 😜

reefersleep10:09:04

Did you manage to sync, @U4P4NREBY? Or did you start over?

simongray20:09:39

Partial sync. Plugin-specific settings were lost (i.e. Cursive), but keybindings maintained.

Morning! Today I am learning how to model our data and rewrite our Mongo queries in Datomic...

otfrom09:09:59

I'd be interested in knowing more of the difference, and how much is datomic and how much applies to other datalogs/crux/etc

Jakub Holý (HolyJak)11:09:52

I might write something down after I am done 🙂

genRaiy09:09:36

Morning.

I have a bit of generated HTML code that has some <bdt>...</bdt> tags in it... and I have no clue what they mean and Google doesn't help really. Any ideas?

thomas13:09:56

dunno, it comes from the Termly site, maybe they use Elm?

thomas13:09:52

sending the code through an HTML cleaner got rid of 1300 lines if HTML...

thomas09:09:39

I think this tag is from the editor that is used and thus irrelevant for my stuff
