Morning. I've been out on a ghost chase where I've found ways to vastly improve the quoting situation with shelling out the Calva jack-in process. Didn't fix my problem, though, because it had nothing to do with my quoting. But, hey, a victory is a victory. ¯\(ツ)/¯

Since I wrote that I think I have also concluded that it is with the official Oracle Java 15+ that things break. Adopt Java 15 installed with scoop works.
I “think” because there are many moving parts and I confuse myself a lot when testing things.
