Happy Monday morning!

pez09:03:44

Morning! Off-topic now: Today a colleague told me he had sent me an e-mail that he wanted me to look at asap. Turned out it was in my spam folder. We’re using G-suite (or whatever the current name of it is) and are on the same domain and all. There is nothing funny about the e-mail. I’m worrying his address has been spam-marked. I know I have used some service in the past that I could send an e-mail to and it would give me a nice, actionable, report. Googled a bit for it now, and am hesitating to use any of the ones I’ve found. So, my question, anyone know of such a tool that you can recommend?

Do you have dmarc, spif and dkim properly set up?

I don’t know. That’s among the things that the tool I once used told me about.

https://toolbox.googleapps.com/apps/checkmx/check has given me good results in the past. Although running it again now, it seems to give me some false positives: * it tells me DKIM is not set up, but it is, per `https://admin.google.com/ac/apps/gmail/authenticateemail * it tells me DMARC is not set up but it is (I receive DMARC reports in my Gmail inbox every day)

Thanks! It gives me some positives too. No idea if they are false though 😃 But I have a start!
