in my opinion it fails to take into the account the human factor. It's easy to say that the 1% has to die.. when you're not the 1%

When the infection is going to spread, and people are going to die, it will be hard to think of those deaths as 'necessary' or 'the lesser evil'.. especially by the families affected

which is why i believe it will end up like italy. Either from a government imposition or just people's fear of the virus.
