In face of this, is there going to be tools.analyzer support from the beginning? If it's not there, a variety of tools would have nothing they can possibly do if there are syntax changes, I'm afraid.

I plan to work on it, yes. however i'm gonna be on holiday this month (and mostly w/o a laptop) so may take me a while. but probably done by the time we hit a beta I'd think

We have prepared a tools.reader patch for some of these, hadn’t gotten around to looking at tools.analyzer, certainly would appreciate your help there Nicola!
