ποΈ Workshop Day: Wed Sep 30
`Day Pass` from `$42` (morning + afternoon session of your choice). Full details coming soon, but here's what's in the works:
> β’ AI Tools & Practices Showcase - Eric Dallo
> β’ Babashka: Fast Native Clojure Scripting - Michiel Borkent & Rahul De
> β’ Fast, Lean, Native Clojure - Adrian Smith
> β’ Calva Backseat Driver - Peter Stromberg
> β’ Datomic Deep Dive - JoΓ£o Nascimento Mello
> β’ Clojure Camp Pairing/Mob Session/Hackathon - Rafal Dittwald & Jordan Miller
Book your hotel nights with this in mind!
And remember that early bird pricing won't last much longer. Conference tickets move to Regular once the full program drops.
Booked my stay! I'm so looking forward to Conj!!
If you "Edit Stay" to change your arrival date to the 30th, be careful that it resets your departure date, so you need to change that back to the 3rd (assuming you plan to leave Saturday morning).
i really wanna go this year, but i submitted a talk so i don't want to book until i know. is there a date set for annoucning accepted talks (and thus paid attendance)?
Am I reading/interpreting the Workshop Day details correctly that the cost will only be $42 for a morning and afternoon workshop on Sept. 30?
Yes, $42 for the first 42 people. And then it will gradually increase.
Ah, ok. Thanks.
Still, thatβs quite a deal. Room is booked. At this point, I canβt let retirement stop me from missing attending a Conj.
It is! Especially considering that last year, a single workshop cost $250. This time, the Day Pass won't even get to that number. Our main goal this year is to make the workshops (and the conference itself) as accessible as possible, so all of our financial efforts are focused on that π
@nbtheduke sorry I missed your msg. We expect to finalize the selected talks by the end of June or in the first few days of July, so the announcement will likely come in the first week of July (or second, at the latest).
cool, thank you. i'll get a workshops ticket and hold off on the rest for now
Alright! Sounds good. Workshop Day Pass will be available shortly. We'll keep you posted!
