A message to the Clojure Conj 24 speakers ---- @timothypratley @kiraemclean and I are organizing a few discussions around the upcoming Conj. The idea is to help the speakers brainstorm their planned talks and discuss common themes and possible collaborations. This is based on our experience of the previous Conj, where a few of the Scicloj speakers collaborated on preparing their talks. Yesterday we had an enlightening call with a few of the speakers, @carin.meier @marlon.silva @quoll @clark.thomaswilliam @timothypratley. Tomorrow Aug 17th 5pm UTC we will have another one with @adam.james @djblue @timothypratley, maybe others. As @carin.meier proposed, we created a private channel at the Zulip Chat, where speakers can discuss their ideas and help each other. ---- To any of the upcoming Conj speakers here, if you wish to join these discussions, please let me know, and I will add you to the events and the Zulip channel. 🙏

hah indeed things get confusing when working across the world! This time is for August 17 at 5pm UTC, so “tomorrow” for most of us still.
