I was thinking more of drinks with optional food/tapas vs a 3 course dinner.

Gotcha. Lets say meet around 7? Here are some options, you can pick between them 🙂 They can all get noisy depending on the crowd 1. Forbidden root: botanical beers, light music (inside), limited outdoor seating and a diverse menu. 2. Tuman's tap and grill: pub with great fish and chips, some outside seating. 3. Dantes tavern: Pizza, goth vibe and some outdoor seating.

Cool, all look like good choices! ;) I'm leaning towards the Forbidden Root - as it sounds like something different and worth checking out at least once.

Some place where we can grab some seats and chat without necessarily yelling over loud music would be great. Should be nice weather, so we can also try for outside seating. My first thought was somewhere near Logan Square, but West Town or elsewhere are also valid options. Hoping a local will jump in and suggest something. :)
