@nblumoe You can use Electron with cljs and then clj on the back-end... maybe that will address some of your pain points.

the main problem I have have with Electron apps is the memory usage... after a while they use 1.5Gig of memory and having several of those kills my machine eventually 😞

yeah, it's upsetting that electron seems to be the best way to make a GUI native app given the limitations of basically running an entire web browser for it
