@martinklepsch: do we know already which editor we’ll use for the workshop?

martinklepsch14:06:17

@txus: not decided yet I guess. Probably we should make a decision soon. You got any fav?

knotschi14:06:52

there is a lighttable plugin for clojurebrigde 😄

martinklepsch15:06:48

is there? I didn’t know!

socksy15:06:56

it isn’t really doing much?

txus15:06:15

I’d go for light table for how easy it is to set up, but don’t know how good is it with Quil

socksy15:06:42

how is LT on windows?

martinklepsch15:06:33

Quil is really just a Clojure REPL type thing, should be fine. I have one other vote for LT from another coach

martinklepsch15:06:59

also IntelliJ just didn’t work on Arne’s computer. (

martinklepsch15:06:29

I somehow don’t like lighttable for the fact that it is essentially unmaintained, vs. Cursive which is actively being worked on

txus15:06:55

I know...

txus15:06:18

to be fair Cursive is quite alpha-y, but I haven’t tried it, has anyone?

txus15:06:24

if it works well shouldn’t be a problem

martinklepsch15:06:03

I have tried it with Quil and after some initial confusion about setting up an IDE it worked quite nicely

martinklepsch15:06:29

I’m thinking since we have an evening to set things up it’s probably fine 🤷
