Hello. I want to write a gui (or tui) for a handling invoice data easily. I'd prefer gui to tui, but both are ok as I am the only user. I run linux btw. I want to scan every invoice data, let the app check the data, ask me questions to specify missing info and then continue to the next. I will run it once a week and I can live with old-style views. But the app must be maintainable and easy to write. I want clean code above all. Which library would you recommend ?

hey Erik! maybe try #CQT1NFF4L, you'll get more reactions there. Are you based in Belgium? would you be interested in coming to the meetups?

Hi @plexus. I'll try cross-posting, thanks. And yes I am based in Belgium (Tervuren). I am no more than an occasional programming hobbyist (for the last 40 years though). It is by no way my professional activity. That the reason why I still hesitate to join your meetings...

we've been meeting every first wednesday of the month, but we'll have to see if there is enough interest in july or if we make a summer break

I can’t join in july but I’ll be there in august if it takes place

I will be away for holidays starting 3th July. So 1st July should be doable... I should mention I don't drink beer (nor other alcoholic stuff) so that might be a blocker 🫣

Not drinking alcohol should never be a blocker for anything... Keeping a clear mind is not a “problem” ;)

I haven't had a drop of alcohol since a decade and I always enjoy Clojure gatherings
