Hi, Is the 29th get-together still on? If we are still looking for places to meet, I have couple of suggestions in Lafayette and in Orinda, both near Bart and with street parking. • In Lafayette: the Roundup Saloon. Yes, they serve alcohol, but it was relatively quiet last Tuesday. They also have a covered outdoor area (photos 1 and 2). 10 minutes from Lafayette Bart. This place is CASH ONLY! • In Orinda: The Fourth Bore. Mainly a steak and burger place, and the inside is a little noisy, but they have a nice outside area with fireplace (photo 3). 5 minutes from Orinda Bart. These are the only establishments that are open past 9pm. The Fourth Bore is open ’til 10pm. The Roundup Saloon ’til 1am!

I think, at this point, it's kinda too late notice to pull something together for the 29th (tomorrow) -- I don't know whether folks want to do something in December, or skip it with holidays coming up and we'll just aim to get something together for January? Both of those spaces look pretty good @youngil and I suspect being out in Lafayette/Orinda it would be amenable to an ad hoc group mid-week...
