Advent of Code is coming up. https://adventofcode.com/ Last year I think maybe there were just two of us doing it locally so it didn't make sense to set up a local group, but the clojurians slack leaderboard code is 217019-4a55b8eb. For those unfamiliar or on the fence, aoc is programming event with 25 programming challenges, one on each day of the season. Each puzzle is a step in a holiday-themed story usually around helping santa get out of some mess he seems to find himself in each year. The programming challenges are generally easy to medium difficulty with a few very hard days thrown into the second half to make in really interesting. Each one having two parts. The first part usually tests that you understood the problem correctly and then the second part adds a twist that is the real challenge. Usually we all share our solutions in the #C0GLTDB2T room. I guarantee you will learn something new about Clojure each year you do it - at least I did. (even the year I did it in Go, in which I learned I'd rather be writing Clojure, though you could argue I already new that)

I don't check this room often, but how are we all doing with Advent? I'm really enjoying the year so far!

Last night was pretty rough for me, but so far so good. I'm guessing some time this week we'll get our first really hard one
