ohh i hear that they might consider Austin as a location for Clojure Conj !!!!!!!
and I said Austin Clojure will help and Lynn said that having the support of a local user group helps with the decision for choosing a location. So hope ya'll don't mind
Ranting and raving time? Ranting and raving time! https://www.arrdem.com/2016/02/22/clojarr_-_a_friendly_clojure_fork/
@clojuregeek: awesome!
which also means i will have to submit a talk.. I told Lynn I'd submit if they came here
:face_with_rolling_eyes:
In May ... Alex Miller will be in town for Oscon .. he said he could do a evening gathering 16 or 17 .... maybe see if possible to move the May meeting 1 week later ?? or do an extra meeting?
and maybe some other clojurists will be in town for Oscon too
Yeah - though it might have to be an informal one. We could definitely swap days with the mathematica group, but usually both of the big rooms are in use on those days
If we move meeting we'll have to see if CapFac has room available that day, but we can ask
yeah he said May 16 or 17
and since Oscon is downtown, i'm sure he'll be staying somewhere downtown
he is teaching a Intro to Clojure tutorial on the 17th
