that's from my reading of https://github.com/clojars/clojars-web/blob/master/src/clojars/search.clj#L59, but I don't know much about lucene

I have tried typical date formats for the field created, both for ranges and specific points in time, but it did not work. I'll try again later.

@tcrawley Tried it too, didn't work either.

I'll check on a local copy later (if it's not too hard to bring up one).
