krell https://github.com/vouch-opensource/krell works perfectly for me
minimal setup as well, just copy two files, run three commands and it starts

@danieltanfh95 I didn't mention Krell as @thomas seems wanting to use Expo, what Krell does not allow. From the README: > Basic React Native only, we're not interested in Expo or any other similar tooling If an bare React Native is considered, so I recommanded too...the experience is good.
