Cool! I think I will write some hello-wordy web app just using figwheel so I dont have so many layers to learn
Getting started with Clojure for the server tasks was pretty easy but there is a LOT of tooling in the re-natal stack
Yep we have had an app in production for about a year. We're using react native with expo, which has worked well. There's also a lot of tooling in the expo-cljs-template that is not strictly necessary if you're happy to do some things manually.
@emilaasa We’ve had an app in production since 2016. Despite the sometimes very rough breaking changes we haven’t regretted the choice.
The workflow seems amazing. And building cross platform apps does not seem easy with any stack
True, yeah to have the REPL in a mobile app and hot code reloading that works (compared to vanilla RN) is pretty amazing!
We've also been using cljs+rn in production for about 3 years. It's been fun though there were some bumps in the early days (the old navigator, list view memory issues...) Currently in the process of moving over to re-frame and incidentally hiring for a cljs+rn engineer in berlin.
I can recommend this guide: https://condense.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/IZ/pages/560980/Iteration+Zero+React+Native+ClojureScript
this link is returning 403 for me
Odd works for me
both links are working for me now
oh, now that's odd - only on safari. i get the 403 on chrome for some reason
Curious to hear if anyone has been tracking master.
