Has anyone gotten react-native-fbsdk set up to work with re-natal? I keep having issues compiling once I npm-install the library and try to include it

It seems that "Your compile SDK version must match the support library's major version.", and I see solutions for an Android Studio-based app, but not a re-natal-based app, and none of the same solutions regarding changes of gradle configs have worked

Just finished solving this issue, will do a write-up about it if anyone is eventually stuck like I was in the morning
