@jurgen_photek Arrived at the same conclusion of using defaultValue and :onChangeText I was experimenting and never took it to production.

Hi guys, I started a cljsrn-cookbook. It's early days and so only has Swiper and ListView component examples and how-tos. I hope to add several more in the next few days.
