If they can relocate it to Tokyo, I would 😛

mfikes01:01:24

Oh man, Tokyo would be awesome. Or Kyoto. Or any other permutation of letters that is near there.

wei04:01:49

I’m trying to do a cljs-http request and getting this RN error: Payload is set but no content-type header specified. Has anyone seen this?

wei04:01:50

Alternatively, what’s a good way to do http requests?

artemyarulin07:01:23

@wei do you use fetch? And does the thing work when you attach Chrome debugger?

dvcrn10:01:55

re-natal is really dang cool, thanks for the recommendation

dvcrn10:01:11

in general the re-frame model looks great

dvcrn10:01:07

it feels so solid. I'm a happy dev now

artemyarulin18:01:17

Is drapanjanas (creator of re-natal) here? Looks like at least not with his github name

artemyarulin18:01:05

I’ll create an issue for him that he’s not spreading enough news about his awesome tool simple_smile

artemyarulin18:01:35

We should find somebody! simple_smile

mfikes21:01:44

I agree. I haven’t actually built anything significant yet with CLJS+RN. I’m thinking about Om Next, but haven’t yet dived in.

artemyarulin21:01:19

Yeah, well - showing some quick starts and project bootstrapping may not be enough

mfikes21:01:00

Jearvon’s talk was pretty good. I would think a good talk would go deeper into app dev.

donmullen21:01:10

I would think you wouldn’t be able to go too deep in 40 minutes.

donmullen21:01:40

@mfikes: Are you planning on attending Clojure/West - or better yet - submitting a talk?

donmullen21:01:11

Best to leave 5-10 minutes for Q+A - so 30 minutes for talk.

artemyarulin21:01:13

@mjmeintjes: Hey! Would you like to present a talk about boot-react-native and CLJS + RN in general on Clojure/West?

mfikes21:01:19

I hadn’t planned on either, but was thinking of attending.

donmullen21:01:22

A lightening talk on boot-react-native / natal / re-natal might be interesting.

mfikes21:01:59

@dvcrn: The issue you had mentioned regarding white screen upon error was indeed extremely annoying. It is now fixed in Natal.

artemyarulin21:01:12

I’m now thinking that most probably David would have a talk there about om-next and maybe he can mention (or show some demo) with om-next on mobile

mjmeintjes23:01:58

@artemyarulin Would love to present a talk but unfortunately I'm in New Zealand and probably not going to be able to make it to the conference.
