thats awesome @artemyarulin lemme know how/if i can help
@johannjohann: just in general writing a query parser on the backend that can deal with fragments, parameters, and nested fragments
it's very complex to get joins right if you are using something relational that's not a graph
I agree with @artemyarulin, tested re-natal and it seems a lot more solid / stable than natal. Live reloading works really well, the app doesn't go nuts if you hit cmd+r, you can actually open dev tools
yeah the figwheel dev experience has been great :
too bad the om-next stuff is still missing that. Especially with the new level of complexity introduced, having something that supports better debugging is essential
@dvcrn: Still not something you are looking for but looks like high quality content: https://github.com/awkay/om-tutorial/pull/16 Integration Om-Next with http://Parse.com as a backend I agree with you that learning om-next takes time, but imho - it’s worth it
@artemyarulin: that's a good resource!
ouu cool
have you tried switching renatal presets to om next?
@devcrn
@dvcrn i did it a couple weeks ago dont remember how involved it was, in lieu of a template if you wanted to give it a shot you can ping me for help
>have you tried switching renatal presets to om next? re-natal has a support of om-next? Couldn’t find any thing about om in the source repl
you can add om-next as a dependency of the project
and a little tweaking of the dev presets, removing the reagent deps
and you should be good to go
ah, ok
FW:RE:RE:natal
Hah! Natal itself has an —interface
option to allow for different bindings. Perhaps the same could be added to Re-Natal with support for an Om Next binding. (Unless Re-Natal is meant to only work with bindings with names that start with “Re” )
(As an aside, I’ve wondered if Re-Natal could benefit from a unique name, like Latan or somesuch.)
@mfikes: natal means christmas in portuguese so I suppose you could also play with that
@anmonteiro: Cool. I asked Motzenbecker about the pronunciation of Natal, and he said it is related to the concept of birth, as in the term neonatal and its pronunciation.
Ah cool thx for clarifying
