@borkdude I believe they are mistaken about the size of the fix

the patch is incomplete because it only handles top level fns

they only changed the macros that I introduced to aid cross-module code motion

but changed nothing in the compiler for fn code gen

cool. perhaps let them know? I haven't looked into the patch myself, but I hit this problem myself over the weekend
