I used to get emails when tickets I'd created in cljs jira got comments - but seems I don't anymore, and I no longer seem able to edit description of tickets I have created. anyone else seeing these problems?
I can check on that
"used to" == years ago? months? weeks?
I think a couple of months. this was the last one I think I edited https://clojure.atlassian.net/browse/CLJS-3294. and I know I got emails for that
looks like you have access to jira but were not in the right groups
I just added a comment to that issue, let me know if you do/do not get an email
check your spam too
the notification scheme for CLJS (and almost all projects) should notify reporter, watchers, assignee (and in some cases project lead)
me neither. should come from <mailto:[email protected]|[email protected]>
I actually don't have anything in about the last month in either of my active accts which seems a bit odd
yep still no email for me either. March 30th was last time I had an email from that address.
I was wrong, I've gotten stuff more recently. I've also verified the email system is successfully sending email
may still have something wonky with the notification scheme, still looking at that. or the issue may in email systems blocking stuff between the two points
they have a "notification helper" that can tell you what notifications a particular user should receive for a particular issue and it says you should be getting them (but won't get notified on your own changes)
you should have gotten an email on that comment I made, so if you didn't, something (I assume google) is blocking the email between you and jira
you might want to double-check you don't have that email blocked or filtered under "Filters and Blocked Addresses" in your gmail settings. you can go further by either adding that to your contacts (gmail usually doesn't spam filter contacts) or by creating a filter for that email and select "Never send it to spam"
although that all may not help at all if it's being filtered somewhere upstream
