A bit late with this question but we moved to .org in October 2018 and starting redirecting from .xyz which was the previous TLD — do you think it’s reasonable to deprecate / not renew the .xyz domain?
(It expired yesterday)
I feel like breaking existing links is not the right thing to do. But then there will always be the cost of maintaining two domains. If it is sustainable then I would vote for renewing.
You don't have any stats on how much the xyz domain is still used, eg from Google or the redirecting solution?
