clj-commons 2026-10-16

after discussions on github and here with @sogaiu, i've offered to steward the clojure tree-sitter grammar (https://github.com/sogaiu/tree-sitter-clojure) through clj-commons, as it's a pillar of the community and would do well with a larger bus factor. (Posted in clj-commons' github as well: https://github.com/clj-commons/meta/issues/81)

to double check the process, i invite sogaiu to clj-commons and then they transfer the project to us, right? EDIT: actually, scratch that, one of the "owners" will need to invite them to the org, and then we can initiate the transfer

(i know it's technically not a clojure project, but it is widely used and useful and benefits the entire community (across all editors))

@sogaiu Has been invited to join clj-commons. Once that is accepted, they should be able to initiate a transfer, then I can accept it and add you both as maintainers on the repo so you can manage the transition.
