clerk

Hello Clojure/Clerk folks! Some - things to ponder. Have you noticed that there are interesting things are going on in the social media space? blue sky and its AT protocol are doing interesting stuff: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qp9jI6L2Tsg I liked especially the graphic shown at about 11 mins going from thought => chat => thread => article and then back to thought. Different projects are exploring different notions of communication patterns like here: https://cosmik.network/ or here https://garden.co/. I have a zettelkasten which started just as some fodlers with markdown. Eventually I build a custom UI in Java and Clojure. Over the last years Visual Studio code has become an Additional "UI" for me to use the zettelkasten on the PC. Now the Mobile story was always difficult because in principle markdown files and my quries should be displayable on mobile, but I use an apple device... Starting this year I started using http://anytype.io and this has sensible mobile sync working. So I think anytype set out as a note taking app or PKM software. Although they have some inspirational references to hypercard. Of course they struggle with their "business" model and have subscription thing in mind. Reinventing money could help here but we are not there yet but its coming. Its also interesting to see the features requested in their forums, first most features tried to copy notions features but then features like chat appears also more and more features are coming which push the boundaries of their chosen tech platform which is Javascript/electron and go I think. For example I'm collaborating with a friend and he is a heavy mindmap user now Anytype only supports mindmaps through mermaid which look really ugly they also support graphviz but its all build on their ideas and their semantic model of "objects" which is as far as I can see very limited. For example I could not link from a node in a graphviz to a Mind map note to a mermaid link and so on. Many projects have tried to get rid of the notion of "Apps" but I think strangely enough these PKM tools where people are developing software for their own needs. So the vision of smalltalk is finally coming to life through javascript largely... of course there is was lively https://lively-kernel.org/ But then there was also cloxp which was very nice if you ask me: http://cloxp.github.io/cloxp-intro.html I got there further than with any smalltalk (like GT for example) Konrad Hinsen build this in Common Lisp : - https://diode.zone/w/5ac43123-91fa-4b2b-a2d8-4ce0254fa2b8 - https://codeberg.org/khinsen/clog-moldable-inspector And here finally comes clerk into play. I mean its still difficult to conceptualize but the first thing I did when starting to work and collaborate with my friend was to setup clerk for me and for him to collaborate. To have snippets that could be changed and evaluated. Anytype , notion those are - for me - just - simple excel extensions, lists and links abut not really computation not really extensions in the way I would like to use them. Now my question to you: where do you see possible connecting points for clerk into these use cases? I know logseq uses clojurescript but besides some queries its not build for "user tailored function extension". Are you aware of any projects using clerk as a PKM Tool? Are there any projects that try to integrate things like AT protocol into clerk? Thank you for your considerations and thoughts!
