When did clara-rules get put under the oracle banner?
Yeah, I think that is something I'd like to work out. Plan to sync on it a bit, but not til after next week (out of town).
However, for sure the https://github.com/gateless/clara-rules as of now has been the one with most recent updates and use (at gateless it sounds like). I made a spin off to rebrand a bit and clean out the CLJS side that I think would need to be rethought better and it holds back good JVM side changes being easier. But I'm interested to consider to see how there could be some merging with gateless stuff perhasp just depending on how syncing about some of those topics goes.
I did deploy the https://github.com/mrrodriguez/concrete-rules/tree/main spinoff which doesn't do much other than remove CLJS and then remove a bunch of project lint warnings and move namespaces around for a rebranding - so a breaking change in the sense of ns names. (and not supporting CLJS).
Around the time that Oracle acquired Cerner
ah! I didn’t know about that!
June/July of 2022, feels like a decade ago
seriously. i hope the folks that came along with the acquisition survived the latest round.
im not entirely sure what to make of the current repo. it looks like it is receiving regular maintenance, but the builds are failing, and now a contributor agreement is required? did i see someone forked it?
as of about a year ago it looks like you were left with maintainer access, then i guess there is a mike rodriguez sovereign fork called concrete-rules, and…
The Oracle repo is lacking the love it requires, but there are promising off shoots springing up around: https://clojurians.slack.com/archives/C08TC9JCS/p1759751493520479?thread_ts=1759751493.520479&cid=C08TC9JCS
The thread above also has k13labs fork too
yeah that’s kind of my question: can we all settle on one or?
looks like the answer to that is in progress 🙂
