Clojurians Log v2

I have a problem where cider hangs indefinitely when trying to evaluate forms in source file (jacked in cljs shadow-cljs watch app). (js/alert "foo") works from the cider nrepl window in emacs, however evaluating a form from within a source file does not, it hangs indefinitely with the => [ ==] animation showing. Any suggestions? I am unsure whether it is a cider issue or a shadow issue...
