@seancorfield @bozhidar what do you think?
seemed reasonable to have a dedicated CIDER channel back in the day, as there was already #emacs
and most people were asking CIDER questions
On the subject of debugging code with inf-clojure
- I'd suggest using https://github.com/razum2um/clj-debugger
we were actually using this internally in CIDER for the first couple of version of the debugger
wish @malabarba had more time these days
dpsutton: @malabarba also wishes he had more time these days
I'd say we keep it, and this channel can be dedicated to clojure stuff on emacs only
given we cannot have an #inf-clojure or #squiggly-clojure channel
look at it from an outsider perspective: i need help with cider, i go to #cider. i say keep it.
i agree. if you were looking for cursive support it would be misleading to have to know what colin calls his llc to go to that channel
We should have channel aliases then
