We’d like to introduce the #life channel https://clojurians.slack.com/canvas/C05P6UP4G2K. For now, it is the project’s living summary document. edit: feedback and questions are appreciated — and can be made on the canvas itself.

If it helps, a canvas is document first, conversation second. It’s the reverse of standard Slack where conversations are first and documents are along for the ride. You open the canvas with the document icon to the right of the channel members (see https://clojurians.slack.com/files/U05ML354JLU/F05QAPHG487/image.png). We find it much easier to deal with the canvas in its own window. That facility is available in the three-dot menu on the canvas header (see https://clojurians.slack.com/files/U05ML354JLU/F05R4KPN7A5/image.png). Canvas https://slack.com/features/canvas and https://slack.com/help/articles/4416442287251-Introducing-canvases--A-new-way-to-curate-collaborate-and-share-information-in-Slack-. PS If we lose Slack’s Pro sponsorship, canvases on channels and DM conversations (one per) will still be available. Individual account canvases (multiple and shareable) are only available with paid accounts.
