Dear Calva Backseat Driver friends: https://github.com/BetterThanTomorrow/calva-backseat-driver/releases/tag/v0.0.19 • Fix: https://github.com/BetterThanTomorrow/calva-backseat-driver/issues/32 • https://github.com/BetterThanTomorrow/calva-backseat-driver/issues/30 • https://github.com/BetterThanTomorrow/calva-backseat-driver/issues/31 I’m hoping this shall make the AI editing of Clojure files much more reliable and less token consuming.
Renaming functions with Rename/F2 consistently fails for me.
Started happening recently? This has been consistently working for me. But today VS Code was updated to 1.104.0 so thinking maybe something broke there.
No, I've seen it for a few days. It works for private functions, though. Maybe it's a problem, if the function is used in different namespaces?
It shouldn’t be. I use this renaming refactor all the time. Maybe something with your project config?
Have to check. But I'm in the middle of a big refactoring and I have to get through this first.
FWIW, I just used rename function for a public function across files and it worked. I did see a whole bunch of strangeness right after I first updated to 1.104.0. It was due to a spawn ETXTBSY error of the language server. But that problem magically went away after a restart. Gremlins, I'm sure.
