Thank you for the RCF formatting change! I can stop using my .) workaround now 🙂

I’ll be curious about wether this plays out like that. Please let us know ones you have tried it out.

seancorfield04:07:17

Yeah, I tried it out before I thanked you for it! 🙂

pez04:07:08

Haha, great! Let’s hope it stands the test of some time as well.

What was that about? I feel I didn't get the benefit of the change. Is it just visual? Or was there something with the eval that made it hard.

pez06:07:17

To me it is mostly visual, I like to keep it open and have room to think. https://calva.io/rich-comments/#thinking-space-is-kept

For eval, Calva doesn't care. Sean is not using Calva for eval, though, so it might matter.

I just find it easier to have the RCF's closing brace on the line below, or even with a blank line before it, visually.

didibus21:07:29

Ok cool, I thought it was visual, but wondering if I was missing something else

pez21:07:36

I tried to make it an empty line before the close. It turned out to be tricky. But since empty lines before the close are kept, it still is easy to create and maintain that.
