@borkdude excellent post!
using boot-cp and then planck is a cool workflow
up until now i've been creating one-off "projects" with a build.boot whenever i want to try a clojurescript library
is there a :jvm-opts
like in lein
? I was googling over the weekend and couldn’t find anything specific
is there a difference between putting it in ./boot.properties
vs like normal via export
on the CLI?
none of the properties files will help, because the JVM will start before any of them are read
Do we have control on the maven resolution phase? I depend on a snapshot library which doesn't get updated when deploying in production. Not sure why.
Oh, that's good to know! If I do boot show -U
will this update my deps including snapshots?
I am building a uberjar, but the build pipeline doesn't update one of the snapshots 🙂
The problem is with the clojurescript libraries. Before I do (uber) I am compiling the cljs, and the cls depends on a snapshot. Catch 22 🙂
I’m making good progress, but I’m not quiet sure when it is necessary to commit! the FS. I’m basically adding commit! when files are not readable or correct.
@hlship good to hear 🙂 the purpose of commit!
is to sync the classpath and underlying filesystem with the fileset object
another way to describe it is that the fileset object is a snapshot of the filesystem at a certain instant in time
