The docker deployment is working well for me under AWS and ECS, not using raw ec2, able to scale up to multiple instances of the app

Yes! don't haha you should be able to adapt server-setup.sh to work on an ec2 instance. I think those use rpm instead of apt?

Haha. I’ve been warned. I think you can spin up any type. I’d choose ubuntu, which is apt.

oh perfect. in that case the script might just work as is. if your domain is also in aws then you'd just need to use route53 to set up the A record first
