quick and dirty babashka script to update all your -Ttools: https://gist.github.com/tylerw/83be543f2fb983033919fe0423a80ae8
Yeah, it might be nice. Babashka doesn't have the libs necessary to add the tools lib as a dependency to call (install-latest) directly
It's just adding a loop in install-latest so it's pretty trivial there
> Babashka doesn't have the libs necessary to add the tools lib as a dependency to call (install-latest) directly Not sure what you ran into. It is able to execute https://github.com/clojure/tools.gitlibs from source, but it cannot execute tools deps from source (cause mvn / s3 deps). There is however https://github.com/babashka/tools-deps-native (experimental).
(here is an example of how to use tools deps native from bb: https://github.com/babashka/pod-registry/blob/master/examples/tools-deps-native.clj)
Ahh, thank you for the pointers, I was not aware of either. I had only tried using
babashka.deps.add-deps and got:
----- Error -------------------------------------------------------------------- Type: java.lang.Exception Message: Unable to resolve classname: java.util.concurrent.Callable Location: clojure/tools/deps/alpha/util/concurrent.clj:11:3
That's a thing we can fix (Callable) but you will run into the s3/mvn stuff after that. However, using https://clojurians.slack.com/archives/CLX41ASCS/p1655586430318299?thread_ts=1655580458.141469&cid=CLX41ASCS you can make it work ;)
Some people have asked for merch for my OSS projects (stickers, t-shirts). Here's a link to all the products: https://clojurians.slack.com/archives/CLX41ASCS/p1655582061874859?thread_ts=1655492617.008949&cid=CLX41ASCS
These are lovely! I started to order a Babashka shirt, but the shipping is as much as the shirt. 😭 If there's a ClojuTRE this year, maybe we order a bunch for people who want them, then amortise the shipping.
I'm sorry to hear about these high shippings... maybe an alternative webshop is better, a European one?
When I try to add my own shipping address I see: > Please double check the following to ensure timely delivery: House or Box Number I ordered The Netherlands, dummy
Here it says that Printful should be pretty good: https://rigorousthemes.com/blog/10-best-print-on-demand-sites-like-zazzle-that-are-cheaper-too/ Can try that one but maybe good to first find out the shipping on that one
Sorry, I give up: https://twitter.com/borkdude/status/1539546360927633408 Feel free to do it yourself and announce it where you like.
I am now trying redbubble. Another site that DRIVES ME CRAZY. I've made a design and now it can't be found anywhere anymore
Apparently you can go here: https://www.redbubble.com/i/t-shirt/babashka-by-borkdude/114489429.6VDG0 But this is very hard to find.
OK, one last try then: https://www.etsy.com/listing/1241766068/babashka-clj-kondo-nbb-shirt?ref=listing_published_alert Not sure if the shipping is alright with this one. Can you try?
Nice! Only 72 SEK shipping, which is about 7 euros. That seems quite reasonable to me. 🙂
They at least include the tax in the list price, so you don't feel like you're being AirBnB'd. 😉
