Randomly thinking out loud, would be neat to have dependency free http client (like https://github.com/schmee/java-http-clj, but that is on Java 11)

I guess https://github.com/cognitect-labs/aws-api/issues/11 could put thoughts on that track

The Java sdk v2 intends to have pluggable http implementation https://docs.aws.amazon.com/sdk-for-java/v2/developer-guide/welcome.html#whats-new

Don't want to sound like I'm reaching for the sky, we don't have as much devs as AWS :)
