We needed to update AWS libraries here at work but faraday development seems to have stopped, so I’ve rolled a personal v1.9.1 that just updates the dependencies over the upstream v1.9.0 and nothing else (https://github.com/cgore/faraday [com.cgore/faraday "1.9.1"]). If you are in the same boat it might help you too, and hopefully faraday development doesn’t stop permanently, it’s a great library.
