Last week during my midyear perf review, my manager told me I'm not using as much AI as my mates and I'm "lagging behind" 💀
but seriously, measuring "AI use" instead of working software seems crazy
It is not even toxicity in workplace, it is being idiot to count AI usage as a measure of productivity!
Give the models the company structure as input and make it iterate on improving the company's throughput by looking at AI usage and middle management 🙂 and make the models iterate for hours on end on the problem
Use all of your tokens to automate your manager's job. I expect it'll be about as competent. (I'm sorry mister/misses manager if you're being pushed by upper management and can't fight back)
