Just added a new serializer/deserializer for Kafka 0.9+ for those who asked for Transit serialization/deserialization. No dependencies except Kafka and Transit, and can be used with or without Franzy (Kafka 0.9 suite of libraries). Currently supported Kafka serializers/deserializers in total now include - Transit, JSON, JSON w/ SMILE, EDN, All built into Kafka, Fressian, and Nippy. Please let me know if there are any more requests for formats. Will all work with the Java client raw as well.
