Hi all
any plans to move away from Slack? I’m losing old messages because of the free plan and I’m assuming that no one wants to pay up for ~5000 users
Might as well post it here: In case you didn't know, Slack supports typing /s/foo/bar
to edit your last message.
@victorbjelkholm: there are two channels for this and a lot of discussion was done: #C0CB40N8K and #C0J20813K
@victorbjelkholm: @sveri not perfect, but history is logged: http://clojurians-log.mantike.pro/
@mikethompson: I assumed, trouble is that it’s private messages, so I’m guessing they are in the void
good to know about the public log though
Yes, private messages are gone without a trace
@victorbjelkholm: there's a #C0CB40N8K channel considering alternatives etc
FWIW, Slack has given away a better service tier for free to at least one other slack that I'm a member of. They may be willing to give us more history for free if we ask nicely.
@conormcd: we have a public chat at Typeform and tried to get a better free tier but no luck 😕
Yeah, I'm not sure how the other account was upgraded. There's ~900 in it, so it's not tiny but it's not as big as this one.
Packt Publishing's free ebook today is Clojure for Machine Learning <ttps://www.packtpub.com/packt/offers/free-learning>
Hi everyone (and sorry for OT during slack service discussion), was recently talking to some russian clojurian community and they pointed me here -so in case anyone would be considering a new move in 2016 and Berlin sounds like a good option to you, there's a role (https://goo.gl/5jwjf3) in http://tech.zalando.com. Clojure will fit just nicely. If you wanna talk, just hit me here on Slack
@ondrejprochazka: might be worth reposting this in #C05006WDW
@agile_geek: thanks man, did not notice that one while searching for a proper place!
@victorbjelkholm: see the #C0CB40N8K channel — there’s a hackpad in the channel description that has lots of thoughts about moving away from slack
How’s everyone doing?
Thank you! I really want to get more involved in Clojure
(remember folks, this is an unpartable channel, so it’s best to find a specific channel for actual discussions)
That said, welcome @joshua.d.horwitz and check out #C03S1KBA2 and #C053AK3F9 if appropriate.
Hi this is a G+ Community For Clojurians. Your collaboration would be cool and highly appreciated
