Weird. Isn't that exactly what Slack advertises that they provide -- searchable history of discussions? Is the purpose of duplicating that feature to make it Google-searchable, as opposed to only Slack-searchable?

@andy.fingerhut: As far as I can tell, Slack won't make an offering that is financially viable to communities our size. Nor will they allow individuals to pay for the privilege to search. It's a problem IMHO.

I think I might pay $8 a month. But that won't do it.
