@jrychter: try with an empty ~/.lein/profiles.clj, that's usually the problem for me
Question for any data science-minded folk: Have you used Onyx (https://github.com/onyx-platform/onyx) in production? Is it a reliable replacement for Storm/Spark for streaming and batch processing, respectively?
@damien: We are. It is early days with Onyx, so there will be a bit more thrash then with Spark or Storm, but I would say it is worth doing a prototype on your end, if you have the time/resources
The mental model is much cleaner / obvious then in Spark/Storm so it’s easier to reason about
@damien There's an #C051WKSP3 channel.
I wrote a book review of Clojure Applied - http://www.clojuregeek.com/2015/08/30/book-review-clojure-applied/
For people who have been to a previous clojure conj, do you have any specifics on what made it better than watching the videos online? Or anything already written up would be good.
@erichmond & @dave.dixon thanks both!
