@erichmond: totes done
hey @bhauman i was wondering when you’d visit welcome!
have i thanked you for figwheel yet? -grin-
Can someone create a :dome: emoji please? 😄
proof that software written in a geodesic dome is superior
just sharing this here in case it hasn’t been already http://michaeldrogalis.github.io/jekyll/update/2015/06/08/Onyx-0.6.0:-Going-Faster.html
we have been developing on the 0.6 branch as they’ve been working on it. it is awesome.
@mfikes: I’m pretty sure my 3yr old daughter was watching that TV show this morning.
Okay, this is actually one of my favorite features of 1Password and it goes a little something like this: ‘Whoa, I already have an account there.'
Slack has summoned me. Hello @robert-stuttaford
upvoted!
welcome @stuartsierra and @alexmiller!
thanks
@michaeldrogalis: i’m very happy to see the metrics in the dashboard. that’s going to be MVP in the coming weeks!
robert-stuttaford: howdy
@robert-stuttaford: Glad to hear it
Wow, three more of my favorite clojurians have joined the fun house.. Welcome, @stuartsierra @alexmiller @bhauman
Yep, not far off, writing my tweet ready. Then want to concentrate on how to bring more people in, and things we can offer
Free candy
I thought about that @michaeldrogalis ,but then I ate it 😁
Shucks @gjnoonan!
@michaeldrogalis: I might be able to find you one, if I get an sticker for my laptop 😛
adulteratedjedi: one thing I have considered doing for a while is hosting some sort of weekly chat time for people interested in dev on clojure itself. although what exactly that would include, I am not sure.
perhaps a slack room would be a good forum for that
@alexmiller: We are going to start weekly google hangouts. We have our first one coming up with @robert-stuttaford This week talking about #C03RZMDSH With the plan to make it a regular thing
well for what I am envisioning, I don't think hangouts would work for several reasons
but of course hangouts seem like this fun for other purposes
afaik, it's difficult to have hangouts with many people participating
but maybe I'm just not well informed :)
sounds cool
I think hangouts is limited to 10-15 participants isn't it?
I guess that's for video
but if you're just doing chat, why not just use this
for video I think http://twitch.tv is a option
@gjnoonan: that’s the limit for active participants, others can watch and presumably send chat messages
I like the weekly AMA idea focused on a specific topic, especially if it's archived for later read through or reference.
With the topic either a specific project or thing, or a specific person
@gjnoonan: you can maybe check with Dick Wall et al. Their Scala Wags video/podcast is on hangouts. You can login via youtube to view live, but can’t login to the hangout.
Does anyone know who owns the @Clojurians twitter handle? The never tweet and we could make use of it.
while you're at it, find out who owns the @clojure handle :)
